Athens County Scouting brings families together through outdoor adventure, leadership, and service. From Cub Scouts discovering the basics of teamwork to Scouts BSA learning independence and confidence, our Pack and Troops provide opportunities for every youth to grow and lead.

Pack 1053 Family
Boys & Girls K to 5th Grade
Cub Scouts build confidence and have fun discovering the outdoors. Meet weekly for hands-on adventures and family activities.
Troop 1053 Boys
Boys Age 10 to 17
Troop 1053 focuses on leadership, outdoor skills, and personal growth. Scouts plan their own adventures and earn ranks toward Eagle.
Troop 7053 Girls
Girls Age 10 to 17
Troop 7053 empowers girls through outdoor challenges, teamwork, and leadership. Scouts camp, serve their community, and aim for Eagle.

In Athens County, Scouting 53 gives youth the chance to explore, learn, and lead, from Cub Scouts discovering the excitement of their first campfire to Scouts BSA conquering a high ropes courses and taking on new challenges. Every experience builds confidence, teamwork, and courage, showing that great adventures begin with simply saying, “Let’s go!”
