💬 BSA-Compliant Messaging

Scout ↔ Scout DMs: Blocked — scouts cannot privately message each other
Scout ↔ Leader DMs: Parents are automatically CC'd on every message
Group Chats with Scouts: Scoutmaster + parent are auto-added as guardians
Adult ↔ Adult: No restriction

📸 Photo Privacy

Event photos are members-only by default. Shared album links use time-limited HMAC tokens that expire after 30 days. No photos are indexed by search engines.

👤 No Public Youth Profiles

Scout names, ages, and personal details are never displayed on public-facing pages. Family and roster data is only accessible to authenticated unit members.

🔐 Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Member sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies. Permission levels enforce role-based access (Scout → Parent → Leader → Admin).

📋 YPT Compliance

This website follows BSA Youth Protection Training (YPT) guidelines. All adult volunteers are required to complete YPT certification before interacting with youth through this platform.
